I didn’t expect much when I bought this guitar for $169, but when it arrived I was greatly surprised by how good it actually performed out-of-box. The sound is very good for the price point of this guitar, though for the price you can see that the quality of manufacture is not the best(namely, the fret board was a little rough and needed some sanding down to make it look not like it just came out of a production line!). Still, I was pleased with how the guitar played, though it does get out of tune rather quick (three or four days), but with the built-in tuner (runs off 9V battery) it is pretty easy to get it back to playing condition. This is a good beginner’s guitar, though I’m sure intermediate players would definitely appreciate it as well.

I just bought one of these. The picture does not do this instrument justice. Having had previous experience with Washburn guitars, I expected it to be a very nice instrument, and it is. I wasn’t expecting it to be the beautiful instrument it is. I love it.
